The Tasmanian band has thrived in the local scene for several years, scoring good support slots to international artists and bringing their own character to their evolving sounds. This is a long expected debut album and it comprises well-thought soundscapes and melodic moments. There is good diversity in the richness of their worldly reflections, of deep vocal textures and driving rhythms. Waiter is a good festival band, having built a solid live following and they can be pleased with this outcome.
