“Welcome to the Instrumental Asylum” where lyrics are not necessary, dancing shoes are BYO and nuts are provided. That is, the real guitar for real guitar nuts and the necessary air guitar to boot. The album is an aural onslaught with guitar music akin to that of The Shadows, Ventures and Safaris. An interesting track would have to be the new instrumental arrangement of The Animals’ classic “House Of The Rising Sun.” I never thought this song could work without the wonderful voice of Eric Burdon but this track is a reasonable interpretation and hardy rocky version of the classic song. Not to be outdone in a world of covers and new arrangements, other tracks include originals songs - Kangaroux, Surfing The Synchrotron and Gol Fol Tip. An album that is sure to delight the palates of guitar lovers.
