If ever a song perfectly summed up a band, it‘s this one. 'Rodeo’ is a rockin‘, rollicking, alt-country meets old school, rock'n'roll tune, as loose as it is cool. There's plenty of whiskey drinking, thigh slappin’, rootin‘ and tootin’ good times rolled into this number. There‘s a reason their album 'Proud Tales To Them To Us’ is not only my favourite local release this year, but one of my top three albums for the year so far. The Whiskey Go Go's are an Aussie band on the up. This single merely confirms it. Do yourself a favour kids and buy this sucker, splash out on the album and see them live!
