:: The Winnie Coopers - Being Different

The Winnie Coopers

How more Aussie can one get? Dishing out the advice to study hard, but never forgetting to party, and including the recipe for Anzac biscuits on the inside cover of the album, this Aussie hip hop group is standing up for the big issues. Made up of self confessed nerds DJ Bigbad, Young Tubs, Eloquence, and Educator, ‘The Winnie Coopers’ debut album is one of a kind. Rapping their way through the meaning of success, the description of a geek, to telling you that the song you happen to be listening to is one you'll easily forget, these tracks will have you laughing, yet seriously thinking in no time. Listen out for the amusing endings at the end of each track. Made up of idle chit chat, these contrast with the hard hitting messages of working
hard, adding another element which make the album, so ‘one of a kind’. The songs are mainly all rap with one or two leaning more towards the singing side of the spectrum. Just a really good listen for someone who is after something completely out of the ordinary. In every sense of the word and true to its name, The Winnie Coopers have succeeded in ‘Being Different.’
