:: Wynter Gordon - With The Music I DieWynter GordonNew York superstar Wynter Gordon has created a zealous new album that brings a cutting edge attitude, electro pop, and easy rocking sound. The one and only 23 year old has teamed up with a few well recognised musicians including Empire of the Sun Nick Littlemore and old school songstress Vitamin C. After her Myspace days, she has converted a small rippling effect into big tidle wave as she finally releases her long-awaited debut: With The Music I Die. Till Death was co-written with the all-time favourite Vitamin C. This song captures the catchy and energetic side of the album. It has been carefully crafted to hook you in and it will unintentionally get you humming hours after it has been played. It’s derived by a heavy motile beat that fuels her lyrics. Next on the album is the popular and teeny bopper loving Dirty Talk. The repetitious, uplifting nature of this song makes it a favourite among pop devotees. Definitely considered to be ranked among the highest on the album. Still on the buzz bandwagon her next song on the album is Don’t Stop Me. One would classify this as an energetic and fast strung sound. It encompasses a mixture of disco and synth cords that mesh surprisingly well and make it super catchy. Then we hit her Buy Me Love song which for the fellas could be the least favourite from the album. However it does appeal to those who are into the playful, vibe creating, chick flick mantra song. It revamps the old diamonds are a girls best friend and gives it a summery, fresh new modern-day twist. Then there’s Still Getting Younger, which may even appeal to the older audiences. It has a retro sound that is easy listening and poses a more personal tone. This has been co-written by Nick Littlemore of Empire of the Sun. We then get introduced to Drunk On Your Love, which is charming and flirtatious and has been co-written with Australian dance pop act Nervo. All My Life comes in as clear cut, clubby and catchy. Rumba featuring Kevin McCall heats the album up to a whole different level! Things sizzle even more as we are given Kevin's husky voice and Wynter light and feathery vocals. Lastly there is In The Morning, which features popular producer Robbie Rivera. It encompasses a strong beat that creates a heart beat throb in the middle of the disco fall. | ![]() |
