:: Nightmoves

Television show Nightmoves was a late-night music show on Channel Seven. It ran from 1977 to 1984 and was hosted by Lee Simon, one of Melbourne's iconic radio announcers.

There was a mix of live footage - from Australian and International artists. Featuring lots of good, old-fashioned rock, many of the performers became big stars, including Peter Frampton, Phil Collins and Blondie. The one-hit wonders were there and Australian music entrepreneur Michael Gudinski was responsible for much of the content.

There are three discs to savour, including one comprising interviews with some of those involved, including Simon, Gudinski, Bill Wyman, Steve Winwood, Peter Gabriel, Glenn Shorrock and Beeb Birtles (Little River Band), Joe Cocker, Jon English, Graham Bonnet and the late Graeme (Shirley) Strachan.

Great memories!
