:: Paul McCartney - Live Kisses

Live Kisses is the result of one magical night from Capitol Studios in Hollywood in February 2012, when Sir Paul McCartney decided to bring his newly released musical collection “Kisses On The Bottom” to life at the very same Capitol Studios where much of the album was created.

In exclusive interview segments with Paul and collaborators Diana Krall, Tommy LiPuma, Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder, among others, Live Kisses offers new insight into the conception and creation of the album. This is an intimate and charming performance which adds yet another facet to Sir Paul McCartney's already broad canvas of talents.

The performances carry themselves superbly. There are sublime renditions of Home, More I Cannot Wish You, We Three (My Echo, My Shadow and Me), Always, and Bye Bye Blackbird, to Paul's rendition of new song My Valentine. This new one re-animates the true to life events that inspired the lyric with stunning acoustic guitar punctuations courtesy of Joe Walsh, plus Paul's harmonising with his longtime live drummer Abe Laboriel Jr on I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter, The Glory of Love and Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive.

All in all, it is a charming and intimate performance which adds a terrific new chapter both in the history of Capitol Studios and the peerless career of the one and only Sir Paul McCartney. Now, with this Jonas Akerlund film, Live Kisses can be discovered and relived by generations to come.
