:: Pink Floyd London 1966-1967

Pink Floyd 1966-1967 is an interesting look into the early career of one of rock's highest profile bands. Made by Peter Whitehead, the DVD features rare full length performances from the classic late 60s Pink Floyd line-up at Sound Techniques London & the legendary 14-hour Technicolor Dream gig in April 1967 at Alexandra Palace.

The band line-up in those days was Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright.

The excellent quality 16mm film of the young, unsigned Pink Floyd recording “Interstellar Overdrive” is worth it to see the bizarre character of Syd Barrett on slide guitar.

This DVD is an essential addition to any Pink Floyd fan's collection.
