:: Operator Please rocks Sydney for Channel [V]

On the eve of their national tour, ARIA award-winning Gold Coast indie popsters OPERATOR PLEASE brought the house down recently with an electrifying, live performance exclusively for Channel In front of an ecstatic crowd of three hundred people, the band took to the stage at The Forum in Sydney to give fans a taste of songs from their new album ‘Gloves’ as well as their biggest hits. Opening the show with Just Kiss, the band quickly proved why they are one of the rising acts of Australian music.

Hosted by RENEE BARGH, BILLY RUSSELL and KYLE LINAHAN, OPERATOR PLEASE also treated guests to songs including Get What You Want, Catapult, Logic, Just A Song About Ping Pong and their current single Back And Forth. Their spectacular performance also included a show stopping mash up of Destiny Child’s Lose My Breath with No Doubt’s Hella Good.

Guests attending [V] LIVE: OPERATOR PLEASE included Erika Heynatz, April Rose Pengilly, Maude Garrett, Azaria Byrne, Rebecca Jobson, Nick Hardcastle, Samantha Brett and Tali Jatali.

On top of catching OPERATOR PLEASE live in concert, those lucky enough to score tickets to this exclusive event were able to get involved with the Channel [V] Silent Disco with DANNY CLAYTON and JANE GAZZO behind the decks, as well as confess their sins in the [V] Confessional booth. Channel [V] is doing what it does best and giving its audience what they want – live music, for free, from their favourite artists.

The show will be produced into a 60min special featuring backstage interviews with the band as well as the performance. LIVE: OPERATOR PLEASE will premiere Saturday, June 12 at 5.00pm on Channel V.
