Their front man was in full voice and even brought a lot of personality to stage, and you know a band has made it when a group of four guys can hug each other throughout an entire band's set. Put simply, Band of Horses were the stellar highlight in a festival that to be honest delivered few.

Talented NSW singer Hope made a great impression at her recent instore appearance at the city HMV store in Sydney. She signed many autographs and her album ‘Winter’ was eagerly sought after by music lovers who witnessed her performance.

This year’s Splendour in the Grass festival was bigger and better than ever. With a stellar line up, a friendly crowd and the best weather you could ask for in August, it would have been difficult to find anyone who wasn’t touched by Splendour’s charm.

Throughout the show the boys proved they can still rock out like they could previously, with extended jams, guitar solos from Neil, and slightly possessed dancing from Tim. Between each song was lots of laughing and joking. The boys looked delighted to be there, back together and playing again.

…this annual festival has now deservedly assumed its position…as one of the premier events on the Aus-music calendar. This year a stellar line up, a wicked location and somewhere in the realm of 20,000 punters all determined to have a damn fine time ensured it.
