The Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) is thrilled to announce seven-time 2010 nominee, TROY CASSAR-DALEY leads the list of artists announced to perform at the 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia, to be held at Tamworth’s Regional Entertainment and Convention Centre (TRECC) on Saturday, January 23, 2010.

Also announced as performers at what is the 2010 Tamworth Country Music Festival's pinnacle event is bright newcomer, HARMONY JAMES ,who is nominated for two Awards including the prestigious Album of the Year, three time nominees ADAM BRAND and AMBER LAWRENCE and four time “Golden Guitar” winners THE McCLYMONTS who will also host the Awards for the very first time.

The McClymont sisters said, “To host the 2010 CMAA Country Music Awards is a huge honour for us. The Awards event is a highlight on the country music calendar every year and we have been watching these Awards since we were little kids. To be hosting them next year is very exciting for the three of us. We will be nervous but we will give it our best shot!”

They will join LEE KERNAGHAN and KASEY CHAMBERS, POPPA BILL AND THE LITTLE HILLBILLIES on stage as performers. Also announced is that tickets for the 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia, presented by Jayco, which is undeniably the biggest night in Australian Country Music, will go on sale at 9.00am on Monday, November 23, 2009, to the general public and can be purchased online or by calling (02) 6767 5300.

The 2010 Tamworth Country Music Festival will take place from January 15-24, 2010, while the 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia will occur on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment & Convention Centre.

With only a little over seven weeks until the 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia are announced, the Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) is thrilled to announce that multiple “Golden Guitar” winner and 2010 finalist, ADAM HARVEY, will be joined on stage by GUY SEBASTIAN to perform live, for the first time ever, the Stealers Wheel classic Stuck In The Middle With You from Adam’s new album, Both Sides Now.

Also announced as performers, at what is the 2010 Tamworth Country Music Festival's pinnacle event, are three-time 2010 finalist, FELICITY URQUHART; PAUL COSTA, who has three finalist placings including Male Artist of the Year and APRA Song of the Year for Survivor 1932; JETTY ROAD, who are one of the five Album of the Year Finalists, and the multi-award winning, CARTER & CARTER, who have two finalist nods for their heart-warming personal tribute, Surviving Black Saturday.

They will join a star studded list of Australian country music’s finest already confirmed to perform including LEE KERNAGHAN, KASEY CHAMBERS, POPPA BILL AND THE LITTLE HILLBILLIES, TROY CASSAR-DALEY, HARMONY JAMES, ADAM BRAND, AMBER LAWRENCE and THE McCLYMONTS. THE McCLYMONTS, Brooke, Sam and Mollie, will host the Awards for the very first time.

Also confirmed to appear at the CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia are GINA JEFFREYS, BECCY COLE, CATHERINE BRITT and MELINDA SCHNEIDER.

The Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) is pleased to announce the final performers and presenters in what will be the biggest line up of Australian country music talent seen all year for the 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia to be held at the Jayco Country Theatre on Saturday, January 23, 2010.

The final three performance places are now locked in and set to join country music luminaries LEE KERNAGHAN, TROY CASSAR-DALEY and ADAM BRAND on stage are brother and sister nominees, SARA & GREG STORER, performing When I Was a Boy which is up for two “Golden Guitar” trophies in the Heritage Song of the Year and Video Clip of the Year categories; Finalist in the Maton New Talent of the Year and Video Clip of the Year categories for two different songs, LIANNA ROSE; and Bush Ballad of the Year Finalist, and one of bush balladry’s shining singer/songwriters, DEAN PERRETT.

A guaranteed highlight of the night will be a special tribute performance honouring Australian icon, John Williamson. The “True Blue” singer/songwriter will watch on from the audience as his colleagues TROY CASSAR-DALEY, SHANE NICHOLSON, MELINDA SCHNEIDER and the SONGBIRDS (Gina Jeffreys, Beccy Cole and Sara Storer) deliver a medley of some of his most recognised songs, as they pay tribute to his 40 years in the entertainment industry.

Also confirmed to perform at the 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia, presented by Jayco, are: CARTER & CARTER, KASEY CHAMBERS, POPPA BILL and THE LITTLE HILLBILLIES, PAUL COSTA, ADAM HARVEY + GUY SEBASTIAN, HARMONY JAMES, JETTY ROAD, AMBER LAWRENCE, THE McCLYMONTS and FELICITY URQUHART.

The 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia will broadcast on CMC on Foxtel Digital and Austar from 7.00pm on the evening of Thursday, February 11, 2010, followed by an encore screening on Southern Cross Television and Network Ten nationally on Saturday, February 13, 2010, at 1.30pm.
