:: Bacardi Express goes off the rails

BACARDI EXPRESS is proud to unearth an extraordinary DJ talent by announcing relative newcomer El Devine as the DJ to support Art Vs Science on their upcoming BACARDI EXPRESS: OFF THE RAILS sideshow tour. DJ competition winner El Devine had to compete with hundreds of entries on a music website to emerge victorious and score himself a spot as the official OFF THE RAILS DJ.

El Devine, AKA Elliot Devine the vinyl junkie, campaigned the hardest amongst 20 finalists to secure the public vote. El Devine went that extra mile to garner the most votes and jump on board the OFF THE RAILS tour.

On securing the DJ spot El Devine said, “I'd like to throw a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for me in the Bacardi Express competition. It's a great opportunity and I promise I'll make the most out of it. I can't wait to warm-up the crowds for Art vs Science, and expect that the shows in Perth, Adelaide and Albury will be completely off the hook.

Australia’s only music festival on a train, The BACARDI EXPRESS, is going OFF THE RAILS for the first time in 2010 for a series of exclusive sideshows with party starters Art vs Science. Lucky punters in Perth, Adelaide and Albury will also have the chance to sample Original BACARDI Mojitos and everyday BACARDI mixers as The BACARDI EXPRESS: OFF THE RAILS concerts roll into town.

The BACARDI EXPRESS is a unique tour on rails, with headliner La Roux jumping aboard in 2010 to join Art vs Science, Yves Klein Blue, Miami Horror, Cassette Kids and Sampology. The train itself is a bespoke fifteen carriage locomotive filled with onboard entertainment, including a jamming carriage and gaming lounge, that travels down the Eastern Seaboard from Brisbane to Sydney via Coffs Harbour and Newcastle, stopping off along the way to play a series of free concerts.
