:: DollSquad album launch and overseas tour

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

Melbourne's DollSquad is an all female band that play a blend of sixties garage punk and late seventies punk rock. The band has had releases on international labels, a self released EP and a lot of contributions to various worldwide compilation albums. They are now launching their new album ‘Lethal In Leather’ with shows in Victoria and New South Wales before heading to Europe for a string of dates in May 2010.

These rock n’ roll ladies are as striking visually as they are musically, sporting beehives, enough fake hair extension to supply Hollywood for a month and wearing the tightest of tight black leather assassin style outfits. It’s a hot and sweaty night when these girls take to the stage. Every DollSquad show entails mic tricks galore, crazy guitar antics, flamboyant drumstick rolls and more.

On Saturday, February 20 the girls with the deadliest instruments will seize the stage to launch the album at Melbourne's Cherry Bar in AC/DC Lane.

Entry: $12
