:: New single for Emily Perry

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

Following on from the success of her first single, SUGARCOATED, produced by fellow Aussie Sebastian Ivanov (DJ Alius), 18-year-old Emily Perry, who hails from Sydney, has released her new single, BOOM. The song is the result of Emily’s collaboration with former Polygram/Arista Recording Artist/Composer Cindy Valentine and produced by 2011 Grammy Winners, the Jackie Boyz (credits include Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo +).

With her unique, charismatic tone, a hook that hangs around long after listening and a remix package by 2016 Grammy Winner Dave Aude (Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Adele, Beyonce, Chainsmokers +), Dave Matthias (Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, Dua Lipa +) and DJ Twisted Dee Martello (Nelly, Mary J Blige, Michael Jackson, Beyonce +), Boom has enjoyed a record-busting start impacting the Billboard Dance Chart within days of its release. It was the 5th most added song in its first week out, was named #1 Breakout in its second week and is now sitting at #9.

BOOM has received radio play in the US, UK and Europe, retail play in over 40,000 stores in the US and the remixes are being played in clubs worldwide. Emily has spent the last two years travelling between Sydney and Los Angeles, completing a full-time dance course at the highly regarded Brent Street Studios in Sydney and honing her singing skills in Los Angeles. Emily now shares her time between the family home in Sydney and her new home in Los Angeles.

Both SUGARCOATED and BOOM have been accepted for consideration in the 60th Grammy Awards and Emily has been booked to perform at the premier music industry red-carpet Grammy week event, The Soiree, in New York in January 2018.
