:: Bands for next Grow Your Own series

Nineteen fresh new bands have been selected for the next volume of Foghorn Records ‘Grow You Own-Upload’ series for 2008. Following its release, a string of showcase gigs will take place across the country to promote the artists featured on the new compilation.

The final line up of this year's Grow Your Own - Upload Two is
Cross Eyed Mary (Vic), Illicit Eve(SA), Very Unique Existence(Byron bay), Reflector(NSW), AJ Steele(VIC), Deadbeat Club (VIC), Transit Inc(NSW), Roymackonkey(NT), Ethix(NSW), The Gronks(Sydney), Conspiracy Plan(Woolongong)), Zenith(NT), Bear at The Door(Newcastle), The Estate(NSW), Tenbillionyears(Sydney), Stella's Kitchen(WA), Squeaker(SA), Firehouse(NSW), Not Quite Velvet(NSW)

Many of the bands have already received major airplay such as Illicit Eve on Triple J and Very Unique Existence on SMA and Mood Media Network and were selected from over 300 submissions. The bands either recorded their track from scratch at Damien Gerard Studios in Balmain or submitted a finished Master recording.

Featuring Tenbillionyears, Bear at The Door, Deadbeat Club

Featuring The Very Unique Existence, Not Quite Velvet, Conspiracy Plan

August date TBA - The Excelsior, Surry Hills
Featuring Squeaker, The Estate and special guests
