:: New single for James Morrison

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

As well as having one of the biggest selling debut albums of 2006, UK singer songwriter James Morrison was also the stand-alone biggest selling British male solo artist of that year. Now, two years on, he’s back with his soaring new single You Make It Real, which is scheduled for an Australian release of September 20.

The stunning and emotional You Make It Real showcases that incredible voice that’s unlike any other. It’s a song about that significant other, who keeps you in check when your life is going to hell around you. It was co-written by James and Paul Barry and produced by Grammy award-winning producer Mark Taylor.

James’ debut Undiscovered went straight in at Number 1 in the UK album chart in July 2006 and went on to sell over two million copies worldwide. He’s since toured with Corinne Bailey-Rae and John Mayer, played alongside his hero Cat Stevens, performed at the concert for Diana (amongst other huge events), had a Top 30 album in the US and won a Brit Award for best Male in 2007 where he was nominated for three gongs. A fairytale start to anyone’s career.

His trademark vocal has caught the ears of Atlantic Records legend Jerry Wexler who described his voice as one “you’ll forever recognise”. James’s new album Songs For You, Truths For Me will be released on September 27 and features exciting collaborations with Nelly Furtado and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder.
