Kyle Sandilands, Brian McFadden and a stellar line-up of high profile Australian music industry experts will add some serious star power to the upcoming new Platinum Series at Piano Room, as guest judges for the highly anticipated new singing competition are announced. Launching at Sydney’s premiere live music venue, Piano Room on Thursday August 19, the new Platinum Series was created to give budding musicians the chance to perform in front of some of the country’s most established music industry professionals whilst competing to win amazing prizes.

Over 70 talented performers will be battling it out to take home over $15,000 in prizes which includes one track fully produced by multi-platinum ARIA award winning hit maker ‘Audius’.

Over the course of the eight week competition, a number of established industry experts will take part as a guest judges, including Maree Hamblion (A&R Manager, EMI Music Publishing), Jaydee Springbett (Senior Director A&R, Sony Music Australia), Andrew Hawkins (Artist Manager/A&R), Di Torossian (A&R Expert), Reigan Derry (Scarlett Belle), Christian LaRusso (Amy Meredith) plus many more.

Five heats will be held over consecutive Thursdays, with each heat showcasing 15 singers who will perform two songs each. Guests will also be treated to surprise celebrity performances throughout the competition.

Piano Room will host an exclusive launch on Thursday, August 19 with public invited to get a glimpse of the budding musical talent from Thursday, August 26. Doors open at 7.00pm each week with the competition kicking off at 8.00pm sharp.
