Channel V’s RIPE CLIP OF THE WEEK has traditionally been selected by the professional music heads at V HQ. It’s the absolute hottest new video to hit the programming desk that week, and artists and their record labels are gagging to be chosen for it. Now, for the first time, Channel V is putting the RIPE CLIP in your hands!

That’s right. We’re entrusting you with this little gem of ours because we know that you’re all savvy as to what makes a great clip and is the next big hit in music. So we’re handing the reigns over to you to decide what the number one clip of the week should be.

Every Monday at midday from September 13, we will post a few RIPE CLIP potentials fresh off the press to our Facebook page. All you need to do is go here and vote for the clip you think rocks the most. You have 24 hours to do so. If none of them float your boat and you have uncovered a new video online that you think should be the RIPE CLIP, post a link to the page so it can join the voting list.

The next day (that would be Tuesday) we will reveal which clip scored the most viewer votes to become the week’s RIPE CLIP. The winning clip will premiere on Channel V that Friday.
