:: Washington storms Brisbane for Channel [V]

By: Carmine Pascuzzi

Ever wanted to have WASHINGTON turn up out of nowhere to give you a surprise, random, impromptu gig for just you and 200 other people? That would be pretty cool, wouldn’t you say?

Channel [V] and WASHINGTON surprised shoppers and mallrats with a [V] GUERILLA GIG at Brunswick Street Mall in Brisbane on September 8. That’s the whole point of a [V] GUERILLA GIG; it's a live performance when (and where) you least expect it. So if we’d told you about it before it happened, it wouldn’t be very surprising would it?

Lady of the moment, Megan Washington and her band, rocked a killer acoustic performance which included Rich Kids, Cement and a cover of the Divinyls track, I Touch Myself.

Keep your eyes peeled kids as more [V] GUERILLA GIGS are in store, so maybe you should just sit at a bus stop somewhere and hope one happens. Or better still, for clues on which city will be hit next, head here and follow Channel [V] on Facebook and Twitter. It’s as easy as that.
